Treatment

Treatment of jaundice mainly focused on treating all those conditions that are behind jaundice. Once the disease is diagnosed through physical examination, the amount of bilirubin is measured by doing a blood test. But the exact cause behind the increased level of bilirubin is known by doing additional tests like liver function test (LFT), MRI, liver biopsy, etc.

Sometimes the person develops high blood pressure, abdomen swelling and becomes highly prone to bacterial and viral infections.
